


- Ninoyiya Sontoku he studied and helped the work of parents. There were statues modeled on him walking with firewoods on his back while reading a book. Unfortunately children will be run over by cars if they do so today and so the statues were removed.
- Mito Koumon a lord or eastern country Mito. He was an intelligent leader who traveled the countries correcting injustices.
- Ichiro Suzuki is an American baseball player who was born in Japan and played for the Orix Blue wave for nine years before he moved to the U.S. in 2001. In 2004 he set several MLB records including a new all-time single season major league record with 262 hits. He has also won a gold glove in each of his first six years in the majors
- Mukai Chiaki is a female hero of Japan. She was the first Japanese woman who went to the universe. She traveled as an astronaut of space shuttles in Columbia in 1994 and with the Discovery in 1998
- SaigÅ Takamori became a national hero in Japan for his role in restoring the Meiji emperor to power in 1868 and rebelling against the newly restored government in 1877
